ReadyTech appoints Senior Government and Justice Advisor
ReadyTech has recruited Michael Talbot to provide strategic advice on government procurement, digital transformation and growth opportunities in the justice market.
ReadyTech has secured the experience of a former NSW Deputy Secretary, Michael Talbot, to advise on strategy, policy, engagement with government and support for growth initiatives in the justice sector.
As Senior Advisor to ReadyTech’s Government & Justice segment, Michael brings extensive public and private sector credentials, including many years of service as Deputy Secretary Courts & Tribunal Services (NSW) where he was responsible for administration of the state’s courts and tribunals and innovation in digitisation of the space.
Michael will focus advising on the emerging needs of digital transformation in justice related organisations, government procurement requirements and forging strategic partnerships.
ReadyTech Co-Founder and CEO, Marc Washbourne, said ReadyTech had a strategic focus on attracting deep domain knowledge and experience that would support future growth and innovation across target industry verticals.
“Michael’s experience in government, justice and digital transformation is of an extremely high calibre, and his advice will be invaluable to our continued innovation and growth in this area.”
“A strategic advisor with Michael’s pedigree gives ReadyTech an edge when it comes to understanding the complex needs of government while responding to the evolving needs of our existing customers with our next generation software.
“Our team are looking forward to tapping into Michael’s deep domain knowledge to expand our opportunities in the Justice and wider Government segment.” Marc said.
Michael holds a number of non-executive director roles, including with the Uniting Church of Australia, non-government community services provider Uniting and the Australian Disputes Centre, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing Alternative Dispute Resolution globally.
“I am delighted to be working with ReadyTech an innovative and ambitious Australian company creating awesome and world-class technology. I was particularly attracted to its strong social commitment to inclusion and diversity and its deep respect for the dignity and contribution of all members of the community.” Michael said.
